Toni Burger (Violin)

After his classical training, Toni Burger emigrated to the Toscana with Konstantin Wecker to express his poetic fantasies and explore his rebellious attitiude. Today he composes theater works and audio plays and surely is Austria’s most versatile violinist (from ethno to jazz, new folk to classical). For the last ten years, despite many musical offers, Toni leaves the city each summer to work as a herdsman, continuing the old traditions. Completely isolated, he not only knows the old paths, plants and herbs but each of this seventy cows by the different sounds of the bells around their necks.
